Smile Condensation
Guide
INTRODUCE
A SMILE
> The smile doesn’t come from the glass,
it comes from how you use it. It’s a quiet design feature, revealed only through time, temperature, and water.
A smile condensation mark made by water — soft, slow,
and fleeting. Designed to be noticed only by those who pause
long enough to feel it.
This guide shows you how to create that smile —
not drawn, but left behind. A smile created just for you.
CREATE A TRACE OF SMILE

*TIMING may vary slightly depending on temperature, airflow, and how much "ICE" is in the glass.
The times above are based on ambient room temperature at approximately 26°C, with a full glass of ice.
SMILE CONDENSATION
GUIDE
Each GRINN glass holds a quiet surprise
— a smile revealed by water.
How it works:
1. Pour
Fill your GRINN glass with your favorite cold drink and plenty of ice. The colder it starts, the better the smile.
2. Wait
Let the glass rest for 15–30 minutes at room temperature. As condensation forms, a gentle smile begins to appear.
3. Lift & Discover
Lift the glass, and you’ll see — a quiet smile remains.
No two are the same. Each one belongs to its own moment.
Tip: For the sharpest smile, a plenty of ice with warmth — the greater the contrast, the clearer the mark.
TIME
(TO) SMILE
FACTORS

5–15 mins
The first drops appear — the magic begins.
Tiny beads of water start to form along the glass.
Your smile is just getting started.
20–25 mins
Almost there! — your smile is forming.
Condensation gathers and the smile outline
becomes visible. The anticipation builds.
25 mins+
Perfect moment — the smile greets you in full.
This is the sweet spot. The smile is clear, crisp,
and ready to make your day.

WHAT MAKES THE SMILE APPEAR
The smile you see is no illusion — it’s where design and physics quietly converge. A balance of temperature, time, and touch brings this moment to life.
When a cold GRINN glass meets warm air, condensation forms naturally on its surface. As droplets gather, they follow the curved path of the embossed smile on the glass base.
Key factors that shape the smile:
-
Temperature Contrast: The colder the drink, the faster the smile appears. (Plenty of ice needed.)
-
Time: Allow 15–30 minutes for condensation to build.
-
Surface Material: Smooth, non-absorbent surfaces reveal the clearest impressions.
-
Humidity: Higher humidity accelerates droplet formation for a sharper smile.
Every condition adds its own character, making each smile unique — no two impressions are ever the same.
This fleeting mark is more than condensation; it’s GRINN’s signature — a quiet expression of design that lingers even after the glass is gone.
